Volcanic Ash Training

Volcanic Ash training should be completed once during initial type rating. The objectives of the training program are to provide the pilot with the following:

• Prevention strategies and operational recommendations

• Regulatory references

• Aircraft manufacturer reference

• Airport operational procedures and ATC
